Henri Richard

During the past four decades, Mr. Richard has held various senior management positions in Europe with leading companies in the IT industry, including Vice President-EMEA Strategic accounts with Seagate Technology, and Vice President and Managing Director-Europe, Middle East and Africa for Conner Peripherals. Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing with Metrologie International, Asnieres, France, and Chief Executive Officer with Informatique Haute Performance, Paris, France, a company he founded.


Since his move to the United States in the late nineties, Mr. Richard was Vice President Sales & Support WW Distribution & E-Business, IBM Technology Group, and was a member of IBM's top 300 executives group. He also was Executive Vice President, WW Field Operations for WebGain, a privately held software company delivering Enterprise development tools. He later joined Advanced Micro Devices where he became Executive Vice President, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. AMD is a Fortune 500 corporation supplying leading edge x86 processors and graphics processing units. He then went on to be Senior Vice President, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Freescale Semiconductor, a world leader in the embedded semi-conductor industry. In the last decade he led WW OEM sales at Sandisk Corporation until the sale of the company to Western Digital and then was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field and Customer Operations at Netapp until his retirement in June 2020.


Mr. Richard's academic credentials include a Masters Program in Sciences & Physics from the University Paris Jussieu. He raced extensively for a decade in American Le Mans Series, Grand-Am Rolex, FIA GT, Porsche Carrera Cup Europe and Asia, Ferrari Challenge, and karting. He won the famous endurance race Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in 2010 in a Porsche GTD and in 2011 in a Le Mans prototype.
